I found some info on the facade. In 1999 it was used during a haunted hayride thing. Check it out:

I also was looking at a web page with details about the auction in 1984, and it said that a guy bought it with intentions of using it as a facade for a bar he planned to open...guess that never happened. It would've been cool though; driving down the street, turn to the side and see this work of Tracy!

Then I found a picture from 1984 (same year of park fire) showing the Castle after a paintjob:

The skeletons are no longer in the right window, but a character is painted on the inside wall, which is seen close-up in the hayride picture. You can also see a plam tree () painted on the base of the center tower.

The building to the right of it is Laffin' Lena's LooneyLand, which replaced the Whacky Shack in the early 80's.
