You know how all of his rides that have the Whacky Shack facade always have that flower window, that other window, and the spider web background in the dips, right? Well, how come the Joyland Whacky Shack has all sorts of things painted on the wall like a mummy, a skull, and some ugly guy. Was that there originally or was Bill going with a new look?

The paintings, for instance the mummy, were most likely added by a park employee sometime after they took the dip out. It was a common practice to remove the dip all together for maintenance reasons. Sometimes, however, the dip would be made smaller like at Waldameer's Whacky Shack. If you look closely, you can see where they filled it in.
