Were Hunt's Whacky Shack and Trimper's Haunted House built the same year, 1964? That's what it seems like from the evidence revealed. Also, Dorney Park's Pirate's Cove ride-through (Bucket O' Blood 1974/75-1983-burned 9/28/83) and Hunt's Pirate Ship Skua were both done 1962. Did Tracy do multiple projects miles apart for the same year? I experienced all those attractions. I did almost all the Tracy attractions at Dorney Park and Wildwood back in the early 80's, and what was left at Dorney Park (Iceberg (Meteorite 89-93), Journey) into the early 90's. The Journey to the Center of the Earth was done in 1960 (built 1927 as Mill Chute) and razed after 1992. The Golden Nugget was also built 1960.

Yes, Hunt's Whacky and Trimper's HH were both built in the same year of '64. Project build dates can be seen on billtracy.net in the projects section.

Re: Golden Nugget.. who carved the mine shaft signs for that ride... Did Bill do any of the external decoration on that ride? I know he did a lot of the interior stunts for tht ride but i was wondering about the outside effects also.. and what happened to the Mine shaft designations signs as well?
